Pump It Forward Friday
“Full Service With a Purpose”
What: Pump It Forward Friday is a fundraiser, run by the Young Leaders United affinity group of the United Way of Central New York, where volunteers pump customers’ gas and clean their windshields for tips. All proceeds go to the United Way Community Program Fund.
When: Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Who: Young Leaders United is an affinity group of the United Way of Central New York. The group is comprised of young and young-at-heart professionals who are dedicated to bettering their community. Each Young Leader provides an donation and at least 16 hours of community service per year. In turn, they receive community education, leadership education, and networking opportunities.
How: Local companies and organizations, along with Young Leaders United, form teams to compete against one another for the most tips. The winner receives the most-coveted traveling trophy for the “Pump It Forward Friday Championship Team” and bragging rights for a year.
Your Role: YOU can help by volunteering for a shift for your company team, joining the Young Leader Team, or having your organization contribute as a Company Sponsor with your company’s logo on the sign at a specific station and in promotional materials.
